Extinction Rebellion

Reds in the ruins

On the morning of 1st April we were leafleting about the Big One in Hemel as a change from Berko.

That afternoon local Rebels walked slowly through Berkhamsted to the castle, four of them as Red Rebels and three others distributing flyers as they explained the meaning of the figures in costume expressing love and grief along with a warning.

With ruins behind, the four women gathered around our banner calling on everyone to come to Westminster 21st-24th April for The Big One.

A date for your diaries:

After the Big One, we will meet to share and reflect at the Quaker Meeting House, Berkhamsted High Street, on Thursday 11th May – beginning at 8:00pm after Leslie Tate, once UK under-21chess champion, plays all-comers simultaneously in Chess for Climate from 7:30pm.

Please do join us. We need you here as well as in London.

We won’t be on any high street on Easter Saturday and the next Zoom meeting will be on Tuesday 18th April at 6:30 pm.
